No, the Gibbston Valley Winery Tours are fully self-guided. You choose where to ride and which wineries to visit. We handle the setup, briefing and transport.
Don't worry, we'll send you off with all you need, such as a trail map, our phone numbers should you need us and advice on the best stops!Some wineries allow walk-ins, but we recommend booking during the busy seasons and for groups to guarantee your spot.
There are no limits on how many wineries you visit, except for time. On average, those on the full day tour can fit 3-5 stops, on the half day tour they can fit 1-3.
Yes. Smooth gravel paths, gentle hills, and e-bikes do most of the work. We've only got 5 star reviews from a range of fitness levels, these e-bikes are made for leisure!
When you're ready for collection, you can give us a call. If you make it to the end of the day, still happy sipping on wine, we'll flick you a text and meet you at an agreed winery (or a nearby point) and shuttle you back to Queenstown.
Sadly we currently don't offer any tastings or food as a part of our services. All tastings and food are paid directly at each winery.
We offer multiple bike options, from kids bikes (146cm - 162cm) to Large bikes (175cm-186 cm). We also have tag alongs, trailers and shotgun seats for your convenience! Please ensure you select the right option on the Book Now page. Alternatively, get in touch if you aren't sure what it best for you.
Children can ride with Whizzy depending on their age, size and the type of bike setup required. We offer a limited number of child-friendly options, including approved shotgun-style child seats for younger riders
