About Whizzy
Whizzy is a Queenstown-based e-bike company offering self-guided e-bike tours and flexible e-bike hire, designed to help you explore more with less effort.
Whizzy Head Office is based in Frankton, but operates in Queenstown and surrounding areas, including Arrowtown and Gibbston Valley.
All Whizzy rides are self-guided. You ride at your own pace with a route briefing, trail maps and local support if needed.
Weather & Safety
If conditions change, routes can be adjusted or plans discussed to ensure your ride remains safe and enjoyable.
Yes. Whizzy uses purpose-built cycle trails and provides clear safety briefings before every ride. If you need us for whatever reason while you are out on the trails, you'll have our number!
Difficulty and Suitability
No. E-bikes provide electric assistance, making rides manageable for most people with a basic level of fitness.
Yes. All Whizzy tours are designed to be beginner-friendly with wide trails, gentle gradients and supportive e-bikes.

The Gibbston Valley E-Bike Winery Tour is a relaxed, self-guided ride along vineyard trails with cellar door stops in Queenstown’s wine country.
The Arrowtown to Queenstown E-Bike Tour is a scenic, self-guided full-day ride following rivers, historic bridges and classic cycle trails back toward Queenstown.

Yes. All Whizzy rides are flexible. Stop for photos, cafes, wineries or rest breaks whenever you like.

Booking & Policies
Yes. Tours and hire can book out quickly, especially during peak season. Booking ahead is recommended.
Booking changes and cancellations are subject to Whizzy’s booking terms. Please refer to your booking confirmation for details. But yes, we are very supportive of change of circumstances!

Food and wine tastings are not included unless stated. On winery tours, cellar door tastings are paid directly to the wineries.
Some tours include transport options. Self-guided hire does not include transport unless arranged separately.
Children can ride with Whizzy depending on their age, size and the type of bike setup required. We offer a limited number of child-friendly options, including approved shotgun-style child seats for younger riders.
Yes. We have a limited number of approved shotgun-style child seats available for younger children. These must be requested in advance at the time of booking and are subject to availability.
