Meet your adventure buddies!

Firstly, to calm your nerves, yes! All of our bikes, even the kids ones, are electric! 

We currently offer two types of E-Bike made by Giant and Mammoth.  Giant make our more traditional mountain bike types that we generally use for longer more technical rides between Arrowtown and Queenstown.  These bikes tend to have you leaning further forward on your arms and give slightly more power through a larger battery capacity. 

Mammoth make the Cruiser E-Bikes that we use for lakeside rides and Winery tours.  These bikes are step-throughs, meaning they have no top bar on the frame, similar to the old fashioned 'ladies bike'.  The riding style on these bikes is more upright than the mountain bikes and many find them more comfortable, especially if you're not used to riding the more traditional bike style.

All of our bikes have Shimano analog gear systems and brakes.  We feel that high quality components give the best performance and last the longest, meaning you'll be riding a bike that always have safe and efficient parts.  

We also ensure our bikes are fitted with off-road tyres and comfy seats, plus seat covers are available on request.

Our cruiser bikes can be fitted with pannier bags for your convenience, just ask a member of crew to fit a bag for you before you head out.

Finally, although we try and use specific bikes for certain routes around the basin, you can by all means request a bike for your ride.  Subject to availability we will always try and suit your needs.

Rest assured, which ever E-Bike you're riding, you can be safe in the knowledge that you're able to experience an amazing adventure on a premium ride and what's more Whizzy's full trail support means that if the worst does happen and you blow a tyre of run out of power, one of our crew members will be with you as soon as possible to get you back on the trail.
